When I saw this bundle, I immediately thought of fall leaves! I am a huge fan of the traditional Maple Leaf quilt block – and when I saw this bundle – I knew that’s what I was going to make – a bunch of pretty maple leaves! Golden autumn table runner .
I enjoyed making all of these pretty maple leaves! If you wanted an extra scrappy look – you could make each leaf with different fabrics. You can see this origine pattern here in fortworthfabricstudio.blogspot.com
You could also make this any size you want, if this is too skinny, you could do two rows of leaves and maybe only do 4 blocks per row. This would make a nice sized table topper! You could also make an entire quilt with this fun block! Your options are endless!
The big advantage of this pattern is that you can’t just stop at the one pattern you see of fabric, you can and must also change the varieties of patterns colors and also size of the pattern. I was noticing a few days ago and realized that the same pattern was made 163 times exactly the same by 163 different people, not one person even changed the thread color!
